This 8-hour course is for anyone who wants to learn to drive a lift truck. Students may have no prior experience or less than one year of operation. The program will allow students to understand how to use material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Trainees will also operate trucks under direct supervision in an area that does not endanger the trainee or others. A "restricted" learners permit will be issued to students who demonstrate sufficient operating ability.
